The "Olomouc Synergy 2014 and INAP 2014" conferences will take place in Olomouc, Czech Republic, from November 22 to November 30, 2014. The conferences are organised by the Institute of Physics of the Silesian University in Opava, Czech Republic.
The conferences are open to invited participants only. The number of participants is limited to 60 including students. Among the invited speakers who have preliminarily accepted the invitation are B. Ahmedov, N. Dadhich, R. Goosmann, Y. Kojima, J. Miller, I. Stefanov, A. Taracchini M. Tessarotto, and others.
The scientific aim of the "Synergy" conference is to discuss recent developments in astrophysics in the fields of physics of compact objects and theories of gravity, accretion theory, and the X-ray variability and spectra.
The "INAP" conference is intended for undergraduated students of astrophysics, their short presentations and introductory lectures for them.
The registration desk for Main Registration will be opened on Sunday, November 23, from 18:00 to 20:00.
The main scientific program of the "Synergy" conference starts on Monday, November 23, from 9:00, and finishes on Wednesday, November 26, at 12:00.
The main program of the "INAP" conference starts on Thursday, November 27, from 9:00, and finishes on Friday, November 28, at 12:00.
The conferences are funded and organized within the framework of the project CZ.1.07/2.3.00/20.0071 "Synergy" aimed to support international collaboration of the Institute of Physics of SU Opava and the project CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0271 "INAP" focused on innovation of bachelor, master and doctoral studies.
